RDIF says European investors interested in operating in Russia
GORKI, Moscow Region, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- European investors, including German, French, and Italian, are interested in operating in Russia, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Director Kirill Dmitriev said Wednesday at a meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“Our partners continue to invest, what is more not only partners from the Middle East, but European as well,” he said.
“Investors highly appraised your meeting with the German economy minister in Munich and correspondingly we see a significant interest of German investors,” he said.
RDIF also plans to announce a deal with French partners over the coming two months, and a Russian–French fund is slated to start operating soon, he said.
RDIF approved 540 billion rubles of investments with its partners in 2015, and 505 billion rubles of the amount are investments of partners, Dmitriev also said.
